Cloudflare Tunnel Recommended

Free, no configuration needed. Cloudflared is downloaded automatically.

Free npm-based tunnel. Simple but may be slower.

Configure your router manually. Static IP recommended.

Same WiFi / network only. No internet access.

Port-Forwarding Steps:
1. Open your router admin (usually http://192.168.1.1)
2. Find "Port Forwarding" or "NAT" settings
3. Add rule: External 3000 → Internal 3000, TCP
4. Set Internal IP to this PC's local IP
5. Share your public IP: https://YOUR_IP:3000

Restore from a backup

Pick a backup made in Haven under Settings, Admin, Backup. It must have been made with Messages ticked.

Your accounts, channels, messages and settings come back, so you sign in with your existing account. There is no new admin to create.
Uploaded files come back too if the backup has them.
If this computer already has Haven data, it is kept beside the restored copy, not deleted.
