Preserve missing ASAR companion occurrence identity, declared size and unknown content in graph nodes and resolution limitations. Apply URL text semantics once for ESM lookup while preserving literal CommonJS paths and original specifiers. Keep CJS wrapper var bindings and assignment history, recognizing only untouched wrapper redeclarations.
Validation: real ASAR producer workflow and CLI/MCP path/coverage cases; semantic reassignment controls. Context7 Node documentation and direct Node wrapper execution confirm wrapper behavior.

Normalize path facts once at the owning filesystem boundary, preserve caller spelling and unavailable inventory members, and retain typed read failures. Record exclusion entry kinds so only proven directories can establish descendant symlink targets; omitted legacy kinds stay unknown.
Reviewed fixes include #1969, #2642, #2759, and #2994.
Validation: 26 reference graph source tests passed; prior artifact checks passed 275 tests with one Windows-only skip. Updated compiled import workflows are included in final validation after regeneration.
Inventory expands an ASAR-named filesystem file only when its bytes are
an ASAR. JavaScript reconstruction expanded it on the suffix alone, so
a directory holding any other file named *.asar failed the whole
analysis with an invalid ASAR header.

Analyze exact selected sources in first-request order before unrelated
static scopes, preserving full artifact identity and byte verification.
Retain selection in CLI/MCP Evidence and summaries, with explicit unknowns
and partial coverage for unselected sources. Keep default full analysis.

Require the caller artifact resource scope when reading JavaScript artifacts. Transfer failed nested ASAR cleanup to that scope so later work retries the same owner before admission. Preserve traversal failures and attempt every remaining iterator during unwind.
Validation: reconstruction, integrity, content identity, cancellation and nested-reader cleanup boundary checks.
BREAKING CHANGE: readJavaScriptArtifactFiles now requires ArtifactResourceScope as its third argument; the optional abort signal is fourth.
Verify captured container bytes against their inventoried digest before listing or reading packed members. Isolate per-reader ASAR metadata, preserve original unpacked companions, and retain complete inventories when snapshot cleanup fails.
Remove forwarding wrappers and shadow aliases, migrate callers and verification scripts to their owners, and share one exhaustive semantic resource-bound projection.
* test(javascript): reproduce omitted NodeNext artifact sources
Tests only: qualify current .mts/.cts artifact selection through real directory and ASAR reconstruction and the built public CLI.

* fix(javascript): retain NodeNext artifact source facts
Read .mts and .cts artifact files through the existing inert TypeScript parser, preserving selected file identities and analysis facts in directory and ASAR inputs. Document source selection and format the existing regression assertion.

* test(javascript): reproduce BOM source range drift
Compare original UTF-8 source bytes and their retained digests with direct Babel and parse5 source-location oracles through actual directory and ASAR artifact reconstruction and both built public CLI analysis commands. Preserve no-BOM, structured-BOM and invalid UTF-8 controls. Tests only; production and workflows unchanged.

* fix(javascript): preserve original BOM source coordinates
Retain the initial UTF-8 BOM for JavaScript and HTML source text so graph ranges refer to the original digest-bound bytes. Preserve structured-text BOM handling and fatal UTF-8 decoding.

* style(javascript): format BOM decoder option
Apply the locked Oxfmt line wrapping to the approved decoder option; no behavior or test changes.
