* feat(binary-layout): admit ELF32 i386, ARM and MIPS layout profiles
inspect_binary_layout refused every ELF32 object, so router and IoT
firmware (ARM32, MIPS32) got no layout facts at all.
The pwntools adapter now admits EXEC/DYN/REL objects in these profiles:
ELF64 x86-64, ELF32 i386, ELF32 little-endian ARM and ELF32 little- or
big-endian MIPS. Header fields are read in the declared byte order, the
ELF32 header is bounds-checked at 52 bytes, and pwntools' own reported
architecture, class and byte order must match the admitted profile.
Other machines, classes and byte orders keep an unsupported_target
refusal that names the admitted profiles.
The output schema admits exactly those architecture combinations, and
the Evidence subject now names the reported machine instead of always
claiming x86_64.
verify:binary:layout cross-compiles i386, ARM, MIPS and MIPSel
executables and relocatable objects (never executed) and checks every
section name, address, offset and size against GNU readelf through CLI
and MCP. The real-binary-layout workflow installs those toolchains.

* ci(binary-layout): install target libc headers for ELF32 fixtures
--no-install-recommends skips the libc6-dev-*-cross packages the cross
compilers only recommend, so the i686 fixture fell back to the host's
/usr/include and failed to find bits/libc-header-start.h. Install the
four target libc development packages explicitly.

* fix(binary-layout): size the minimum symbol entry by ELF class
The relocation reference check required a 24-byte Elf64_Sym entry, so
every positive symbol reference in an ELF32 report was refused as
unreadable output. Elf32_Sym is 16 bytes; take the minimum from the
reported class. A 64-bit table with 16-byte entries is still refused.

Construct integer formats directly while preserving bounds, refinements, metadata and current shared schema owners. Keep Incur-dependent CLI numeric coercion declarations unchanged.
Verify canonical advertisements, 126 numeric boundary cases, 974 actual CLI parser cases, broad source tests and real public-artifact SDK workflows. Record 72 normal tasks and 12 separate owned-inspector heap diagnostics with whole-family resource bounds; distinguish SDK spans and asymmetric audit overhead. Generate numerical report sections from receipts and reject stale tables through documentation conformance checks.
Closes#6236. Current-head CI and Greptile pass; actionable review findings are addressed. Codex review was unavailable due repository usage limits.
* fix(native): recover macOS command deadlines
Promote native_command_timeout_ms (default 60000), native_ui_deadline_ms
(default 180000), and pwntools_timeout_ms (default 30000) as validated
per-call settings. Keep cpuSeconds, byte allowances, LLDB grace, and plist
probes fixed, and say those caps have no runtime override.

* fix(native): report the deadline that actually expired
Pass the selected native command timeout through xcrun resolution, thread
the pwntools deadline into pwndbg failures, and state the selected UI
deadline apart from the fixed wait-step cap. SIGXFSZ and EFBIG recovery
names the file-size allowance.

* fix(native): honor the selected deadline on helper stages
The UI helper compile and capture subprocesses used fixed 60s and 30s
exec timeouts, so a longer native_ui_deadline_ms still failed as a generic
provider error. Preparation timeouts reported the 60000 ms default instead
of the selected native_command_timeout_ms.
Memory resource-constraint recovery names memory again, and the Darwin
plist CLI expectation matches the byte-counted input allowance.

Replace the lookahead-based pattern with separate allOf/not JSON Schema rules for quartet length, alphabet, padding and canonical pad bits. Share the runtime predicates with HAR and padded base64 parsing.
Validate converted advertised leaves with the MCP SDK validator, preserve permissive versus canonical semantics, and exercise every pattern near the 32 MiB encoded-input budget in all JavaScript modes.
* fix(contracts): reject OS-invalid local paths in binary and artifact tools
Enforce localPathStringSchema across inspect_pe_resources,
inspect_binary_layout, inspect_recorded_crash, inspect_wasm_artifact,
and inspect_evm_interface input schemas to reject embedded NUL bytes at
the contract boundary instead of failing later during filesystem
operations.
Add corresponding acceptance test cases to the advertised MCP contracts
matrix in localToolContracts.test.ts.

* style(contracts): wrap pe resources path description under print width
Wrap the inspectPeResourcesInputSchema path property description to keep lines within the 80-column oxfmt limit.

* refactor(schemas): share identifier and canonical base64 patterns
* test: hold the offset datetime schema to the validator it replaces
The module documents that its accepted set matches z.string().datetime({ offset: true }), and nothing in the suite checked that claim. Adds table-driven accept and reject cases (leap years including the 1900/2000 century pair, month, day, hour and offset ranges, fractional and omitted seconds, missing offset, basic format) plus a differential assertion that classifies every case exactly as the replaced validator does, and asserts the emitted pattern compiles under u and v while the replaced pattern does not compile under v.

* fix: emit v-mode-compatible patterns for tool schemas
Character classes in emitted patterns carried unescaped '-', '/' and '['. Annex-B and u-mode accept them, so REA's own Zod validation (u) and every u-based validator never saw a defect, but v-mode rejects ClassSetSyntaxCharacters and Ruby rejects [^s[]]. With 6.1.0 tools/list, 117 pattern fields across 11 tools were rejected under v.
The characters are escaped as \x2d, \x2f, \x5b and \x5d rather than \-/\//\[, because oxlint --fix removes an escaped '-' inside a character class as a useless escape, so an escape-only change does not survive the pre-commit hook. \x2d-style escapes are valid under Annex B, u and v, are matched identically, and are not useless-escape candidates.
22 pattern literals in 18 files are touched; no other token changes.
* fix: replace the Zod offset pattern and guard the advertised catalog
The offset datetime site projected Zod's offset class as [ +- ], which no escape in this repository's sources can reach, so evaluate_reconstruction_coverage stayed unreachable for exactly the clients this change targets. It now uses offsetDateTimeSchema in src/domain/offsetDateTime.ts: the same accepted set with the offset class escaped as [ +\x2d ].
Adds tests/boundary/mcp/advertisedPatternsVMode.test.ts, which performs the real tools/list projection, traverses every advertised input and output schema, compiles each pattern under v, and asserts the inventory it walked so a silent traversal collapse fails instead of passing vacuously.
