Retain native-only dispatch workflows without requiring a deep provider profile. Validate exact target, operation, and current reader bindings during open, import, recording, and export; preserve selected deep bindings and caller limits.
Validated public CLI and stdio MCP save/reopen, exact CLI replay, changed-limit cache partitioning, baseline failure and candidate success on an Apple-clang fixture, snapshot lifecycle regressions, typecheck and lint. No target or deep engine execution. Fixes#5529.
Preserve listing-backed facts and explicit unavailable decompiler facets when one function fails. Retain Evidence while excluding transient failures and derived workflows from snapshot reuse; keep healthy cache reuse and owned cleanup semantics.
Fixes#4644.
Return a closeable owner before prerequisite work begins. Share creation across independent callers, join the final departure and late handoffs, retain exact failed resource owners, and gate operation dispatch again after acquisition.
Keep reuse admission separate from native health. Move shared provider ownership below application workflows and consolidate failure attribution; remove the superseded lazy client.
Validation: 34 focused owner, lazy, composite and session controls; check:fast. Compiled baseline/candidate recording-provider workflow reproduces then fences dispatch after close. No native provider claim.

Carry asynchronous readiness through provider selection, session status, CLI and MCP. Join observations during cancellation and shutdown, keep status readable during finalization, and retain mixed provider errors and exact cleanup dependencies through the shared inspection failure owner.
Validation: 255 focused tests across 18 files; 21 registry tests rerun with primary restoration assertion; check:fast; docs:check and 5 README conformance tests. Registered MCP and SDK schema checks use controlled providers; no real Ghidra/JVM verification.
This is a prerequisite for #4561. The synchronous Ghidra Java producer and its doctor/client ownership migration remain unfinished.
BREAKING CHANGE: binary_session candidate availability can be unknown during owner finalization. Consumers must handle this state; the internal session status API is now asynchronous.

open_binary read snapshot_path before it entered the session's lifecycle
order, so a current_document or close_binary dispatched after it could
run first: the read returned Evidence for the previous target and the
close left the snapshot target open. The session now loads the snapshot
inside the open's own turn.

Avoid lazy provider startup for document and procedure completion. Propagate MCP cancellation through completers, cancel lookups during session transitions, and share provider result projection with ordinary operations. Cover cold, starting, warm, queued, cancelled, and closed sessions through MCP composition and provider boundaries.
Stop cached metadata replay before a provider write starts, including while its reply is pending or fails after applying the mutation. Keep snapshot import and export disabled until the target is reopened.
Validate failed replies, conflicting provider identity, and overlapping reads through the shared session boundary.
Profile resolution gives Ghidra and Hopper a concrete version, but the
selected candidate's capabilities and the session route kept the
provider's static identity with a null version. binary_session therefore
grouped capability sets under a different identity than the binding and
the selected candidate.
The registry now rebinds the selected provider's capabilities to the
resolved identity once, on the binding, and the route uses them. Evidence
provenance already compensated downstream by substituting the profile
identity; that repair is removed because the route now carries the
resolved identity.

Give atomic Evidence and snapshot writes an explicit resource owner, preserve primary failures and completed publication receipts, and retry retained staging cleanup at the owning lifecycle. Verify inode identity before publishing or deleting; unknown path disappearance remains a cleanup failure. Keep snapshot admission reusable when a session closes and reopens.
Consolidate JavaScript source-scope classification so cancellation cannot fabricate failures for unselected files. Classify configuration failures as invalid input. Remove stale assertions and reuse shared test cleanup ownership.
Validation: 266 focused tests before final ownership tightening, 108 affected tests afterward, static and documentation checks, actual invalid-configuration CLI behavior, and isolated test temporary-directory hygiene.

Separate observed relationship coverage from general provider caveats. Authenticate and replay coverage without changing legacy Evidence IDs; expose unknown and capped relationship sets through CLI/MCP graphs and traces.
Validated focused domain, snapshot, IDA/Ghidra boundary, MCP, schema, package and static checks. Provider fixtures establish contract behavior; licensed engine behavior was not reverified.
Verify retained provider operation health before reusing the same target and profile. Retire failed Hopper clients through existing owned cleanup, preserve healthy reuse and cancellation, and start replacement children lazily on the next query.
Refs #1719. Actual headless Linux Hopper child-death/reopen recovery and 85 related tests passed against the current-main merge tree; Ghidra/IDA liveness and the historical snapshot report remain outside this verification.

Under verbatimModuleSyntax, an import whose specifiers all carry inline
`type` modifiers compiles to `import {} from "..."`, a side-effect import
that still resolves and evaluates the module. 78 compiled modules carried
one, including `import {} from "playwright-core"` in the browser scenario
session, which loaded Playwright's module graph at MCP startup.
Use top-level `import type` for these bindings and enable oxlint's
typescript/no-import-type-side-effects rule so the pattern cannot return.

* perf(mcp): load Playwright when a scenario launches, not at startup
The browser scenario and Electron active providers are constructed before
the stdio server serves, and both bound Playwright's launchers at module
load. Resolve `chromium` and `_electron` from playwright-core when a
capture opens instead, as the web module resolver already does.
MCP startup now resolves 1,312 modules (4,902 resolutions) instead of
1,598 (6,076) before reading the first request, and no longer loads
playwright-core. Provider construction, the tool catalog, and capability
inventory are unchanged.
A boundary test spawns the stdio server, initializes, lists tools, and
asserts playwright-core and isomorphic-git were not resolved; the CLI
probe now exercises the real launch path to prove detection.

Resolve conflicts against main:
- README.md: take main's simplified English README, which no longer has
the tool-family table.
- README_ja.md: take main's reworded table and count
trace_dylib_resolution in the artifact graph row (5 -> 6).
- Skill: the references gain the trace_dylib_resolution paragraph, so
the version moves to 29 (main already uses 28).
- Regenerate the product catalog, conformance manifest, skill digest and
package metadata (135 tools). The MCP tool catalog is now built rather
than committed (#997), so it is removed here.

Add trace_dylib_resolution (CLI trace-dylib-resolution) to the artifact
family. For the active Mach-O, or every executable in the active .app
(the main app, XPC services, extensions, login items, helpers), it
reports which file each dylib load reaches and how.
A pure TypeScript reader decodes FAT and Mach-O load commands:
LC_LOAD/WEAK/REEXPORT/LAZY/UPWARD_DYLIB, including the newer
dylib_use_command encoding with weak, re-export, upward and delayed-init
flags, plus LC_ID_DYLIB, LC_RPATH, LC_DYLD_ENVIRONMENT and code-signature
presence. Malformed tables are reported with the failing command instead
of being guessed.
Resolution follows dyld:
- @executable_path comes from each process root;
- @loader_path comes from the loading image, or from the owner of the
LC_RPATH entry being expanded;
- @rpath searches the loader's rpaths first, then up the load chain;
- dependencies load dependents-first in load-command order, once per
process, and a matching install name reuses an already loaded image;
- symlinks are followed inside the analyzed root, and escapes stop.
Every candidate path is reported with its outcome. Each edge resolves to
resolved, conditional (an outside-root candidate such as /usr/lib/swift
precedes), unresolved, or undetermined. Absolute and shared-cache system
paths are never checked against the host. Derived findings cover
unresolved required or weak loads, absent earlier @rpath candidates (with
library validation left unknown), and LC_DYLD_ENVIRONMENT.
verify:macos-bundle now also:
- checks every traced image against otool -l;
- asserts each resolution status on a clang-built fixture that adds a
missing Overrides rpath, an absolute rpath, and a delay-init library;
- compares the predicted load order of two process roots with what dyld
loads under DYLD_PRINT_LIBRARIES.
