Read bounded regular registrations asynchronously with retained descriptor cleanup. Carry the selected parsed configuration through provider factories and restoration, preserve exact cancellation reasons, and share workspace-parent resolution with doctor checks.
Closes#5561Closes#5559Closes#5604
Attached IDA binds the open database to the target only through the
recorded whole-input SHA-256, path and image base. Every slice of a
universal Mach-O shares that digest, so an attached database of another
slice passed the identity check and its results were attributed to the
host-selected architecture. Attached admission now reports the target
format as unsupported, with lipo -thin and headless recovery, before any
upstream contact. Headless mode keeps thinning the selected slice.

Share tagged readiness observations, retain partial provider facts, authenticate bridge identity, bound diagnostics, and preserve cancellation and lost-session reasons. Fail closed for unparsed MIPS ABI attributes and macOS saved Hopper databases without a script-capable bridge route.

Validation: 285 focused source/boundary tests passed. Real Ghidra, IDA, Linux Hopper, and Windows provider runs were not repeated.
BREAKING CHANGE: MIPS targets with unresolved GNU ABI attributes and saved Hopper databases on macOS are refused rather than advertised as supported.
* fix(application): accept alternative document selection in binary_overview (#2460)
Update binary_overview capability negotiation so that either current_document or list_documents satisfies the document identity requirement, matching resolveAnalysisDocument runtime semantics. When a provider declares neither document capability, resolveAnalysisDocument reports AnalysisCapabilityUnavailableError for current_document rather than leaking the internal list_documents fallback. Preserve list_segments as an independently mandatory requirement.
* fix(application): retain document fallback provider errors
Return the fallback producer error unchanged, retaining operation identity, retry advice, diagnostics and cleanup instead of fabricating missing capabilities.
Source inspection and git diff --check; tests/builds/typechecks/CI reruns skipped at explicit user request.
* test(application): retain document fallback error expectations
Composition and MCP controls now expect the original list_documents producer error and reason.
Source inspection and git diff --check only. Tests, builds and typechecks skipped by explicit user request. GitHub review writes paused globally.
* fix(ida): assert attached-mode routing failure

Split two over-long test functions into module-level helpers
(max-lines-per-function): IdaSessionClient transport cases, IDA provider
composition, and function comparison identity cases keep their names and
assertions.
Also fix three typecheck errors: default omitted
direct_invokes_exhaustive to null so the result schema stays JsonValue
compatible, parse the ghidra dossier before spreading it, and delete the
optional beforeCall hook instead of assigning undefined under
exactOptionalPropertyTypes.
A profile mismatch reached the caller as a bare AnalysisProtocolError,
which projects to `unreadable_output` with a generic message. The error
already named every missing tool, but none of that detail survived, so
the only way to identify the cause was to log the JSON-RPC traffic and
notice the exchange stopping after `tools/list`.
Throw a ProviderAdapterError instead, carrying the mode, the expected
profile and the missing tool names through the diagnostics channel that
already surfaces in `details`. Document which upstream versions each
profile accepts, since upstream `main` now serves neither.

Deliver complete Evidence directly through MCP with required nullable analysis profiles and immutable per-server delivery settings. Bind selected environments at construction and require typed cleanup outcomes with retained retry ownership.
Remove test-only routing, duplicate session and snapshot metadata, producer-field repairs, and ambiguous provider arguments. Separate artifact byte identity from occurrence classification and retain typed source-map and partial native facts across CLI, MCP, and verifier consumers.
BREAKING CHANGE: obsolete Evidence envelopes, session aliases, incomplete snapshots, and missing normalized producer facts are no longer accepted.
