Flash the picture a thread reply line points to, and fit tall ones
...
A reply line in a thread now jumps and flashes its target as the channel
does. A message taller than its list lines up its top on a jump, so a
big picture or grid comes into view instead of its middle.

The channel box already did this. The thread box, docked or popped out,
now edits your newest reply in the open thread, behind the same setting.

Name a picture root in the thread header and list, not its upload path
...
A thread on a picture-only message showed /uploads/... under its header
and in the Threads list. Both now use the reply line's preview text, so
pictures and files read by name.

Drop the reply banner that points at a thread's own root
...
Some clients send every thread reply as a reply to the thread's first
message, so a banner pointing at it sat above nearly every reply. The
thread panel no longer shows it (old replies included) and the server
stops storing it outside blogs, where it means a comment on the first
picture.

Keep the thread panel still for readers scrolled up
...
Every new reply scrolled the thread to the bottom. It now follows only a
reader within 40px of the end (or their own reply); otherwise the view
stays put and a button at the foot counts the new replies and jumps to
the latest.

Mark unseen thread replies and sound only for threads you take part in
...
A thread reply reached everyone in the channel. Now the server names the
people taking part (starter and repliers, minus muted forum topics); only
they hear a reply, plus mentions and replies to you. The thread chip shows
a dot and N new, the Threads button counts threads with news, and the
sidebar dots a channel with news in a thread you follow. Opening clears it.
